CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Evansville women’s tennis had three players in action on Sunday’s final day of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships.

Freshman Gaby Fifer kept up her successful fall, taking third place in the fifth flight with a victory over Mary McMullan of Creighton.  It marked her fourth singles victory.

Fellow freshman Natasha James came up short in her bid for a flight win, taking second place behind Veronika Blaskova of Wichita State.

The final UE player to see action on Sunday was Dora Kotsiou, who came in fourth place after falling to Aniko Kiss of Illinois State.

With its three fall tournaments complete, UE will prepare for the spring portion of its schedule, which begins on January 27 at Austin Peay followed by a trip to Lipscomb on February 3.  On February 4th, the Aces will open up their home schedule, playing host to UT-Martin.
