Tennis player Kate Chybowski, the University of Evansville all-time leader in singles victories and total victories, added two more wins last weekend at number one singles to earn UE's Vectren Student-Athlete of the Week award.  She defeated Drake's Manca Krizman 6-2, 6-4 on Saturday, and beat UNI's Phoebe Walker 5-7, 7-5, 10-5 on Sunday. Chybowski is now 14-2 at number one singles this spring, including 4-1 against MVC opponents. 

Chybowski ranks number one in Evansville history with 104 singles victories and 182 total victories.  She is third in school history with 78 doubles victories, eight behind record holder Beth Peyton.  The Aces host the University of Southern Indiana Wednesday at 3:30, and close out the regular season at home this weekend with a match Friday against Bradley at 5:00 and Illinois State Saturday at 1:00.
