University of Evansville women's soccer coach Krista McKendree has fortified her defense by adding goalkeeper Erin Flynn of Independence, Ohio and defender Miranda Graham of Florissant, Mo. to the Aces' 2011 squad.  Flynn is a senior at Walsh Jesuit High School and Graham is a senior at McCluer North.

"We are glad that we were able to find Erin so late in the process," according to McKendree. "She is expected to come in and challenge for playing time. Erin is a great young lady who we are thrilled to have joining our squad.  Miranda is a very nice surprise addition who we were able to see at our camp. She impressed us immediately with her work ethic, attitude, and ability to compete. Miranda will be a great addition to our ACES family."

An all-district goalkeeper who helped lead her club team to a State Cup championship in 2009, Flynn becomes the second keeper on the 2011 Aces' squad along with veteran Chaviel Harrison.  Flynn posted 19 shutouts and allowed only six goals as a senior at Walsh Jesuit High School, after totaling 14 shutouts as a junior and eight as a sophomore.

A defender throughout her career at McCluer North and as a member of the Florissant United Soccer Club and JB Marine, Graham is a four-time all-conference selection at the high school level.  She also helped lead JB Marine to second place in the 2009 Missouri State Cup.  Graham received the MSHSAA Award of Excellence for exemplary display of sportsmanship, ethics and integrity.

Flynn, Graham and the rest of the Aces report to campus the first week of August, and play their first exhibition match August 10 against Western Kentucky.
