SAINT LOUIS – Saint Louis used an 11-1 shot advantage Sunday afternoon to top the University of Evansville women’s soccer team, 4-0, at Hermann Stadium. With the loss, the Purple Aces fall to 0-1-1 on the season.
Within the first five minutes of play, the Billikens tallied two quick scores, starting with Jasmina Suljic’s goal with help from Alli Reimer at the 1:16 mark. Just over three minutes later (4:25), Abbey Stock netted SLU’s second goal off a rebound on a save by goalkeeper

The Billikens made the score 3-0 before the end of the half when Jenny Hummert found the lower right side of the goal on a pass from Mallorie Owens 24:40 minutes into the game.
Hummert capped the match with another goal at the 82:45 mark on a chip shot over Harrison from about 16 yards out.
Harrison finished with three saves on the day, as the Billikens tallied seven shots on goal. Goalie Katie Walsh recorded the shutout for SLU without recording a save.
Evansville is back in action Friday when the Aces host Central Michigan at 7:00 p.m. CT at Arad McCutchan Stadium.
