WICHITA, Kan. – #Kelsey Costales and Natasha James# have advanced to the Flight One Doubles Finals as the University of Evansville women’s tennis team completed day two of the MVC Individual Championships, which are being hosted by Wichita State.
 
James and Costales defeated the duo of Veronika Blaskova and Lucia Kovalova of Wichita State by an 8-6 final.  The duo will now square off against Northern Iowa’s top doubles team of Krissy Lankelma and Phoebe Walker for the Flight One Doubles Championship on Sunday. 
 
James along with Emily Richardson advance to the third-place matches in their respective singles flights.  James will face Anita Lee of Southern Illinois in flight two singles.  Richardson, who is in flight four singles, will take on Jennifer Dien of the Salukis.
 
In other action on Saturday, Gaby Fifer fell to Chealsea Moore of UNI in flight three singles to finish sixth in her group.  Rachel Gillespie also took sixth in her group, flight six.  Gillespie, along with doubles partner Mina Milovic, took sixth place in flight three doubles.
