Clarksville, Tenn. – Junior Kelsey Costales went undefeated as the University of Evansville women’s tennis team finished its second day of action at the Austin Peay Fall Invitational.
 
Costales defeated UT Martin in Flight C  consolation singles, 6-3, 6-3, to advance to the finals on Sunday.  She also went undefeated in Flight A doubles with Natasha James.  The duo defeated Western Kentucky, 8-0, before tallying an 8-3 win over SIU Edwardsville in the consolation finals.
 
Gaby Fifer also had a solid day for UE.  The sophomore  defeated Western Kentucky in Flight B singles consolation action, 6-3, 6-2 before falling in the semifinals to Eastern Kentucky, 6-2, 6-3. 
 
In doubles play, Fifer and Emily Richardson defeated SIUE in the Flight B Consolation semis, 9-8 (5) before falling in the finals to WKU, 9-8 (2).
 
Costales will be the lone UE player to see action on Sunday as she will play in the Flight C finals at 8:30 a.m.
