Day Two Results
RICHMOND, Ky. – The University of Evansville tennis team was victorious in nine of its 12 matches against host Eastern Kentucky at the EKU Invitational Saturday morning.

Marketa Trousilova led the Purple Aces by winning all three of her matches, as she prevailed in both of her singles contests and won a doubles match with partner
Natasha James. In singles action, Trousilova defeated Saioa Oscoz, 6-2, 5-7, 10-6, before prevailing over Kristina Lebeja, 3-6, 6-3, 10-6. In doubles play, Trousilova and James posted an 8-5 victory over Oscoz and Carmen Rodriguez.

Kelsey Costales won both of her matches as well, as she defeated Marcela Jimenez in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2 and partnered with James to defeat Jimenez and Labeja, 8-3, in doubles competition.

Mina Milovic finished the day with a 3-1 record by going 1-1 in singles competition and winning both of her doubles matches. Milovic defeated Jimenez, 6-4, 6-0 and fell to Rodriguez, 6-4, 6-1 in singles play, before prevailing in doubles with partner
Marina Moreno. Milovic and Moreno defeated Labeja and Jimenez, 8-5, and the team of Oscoz and Rodriguez, 8-3.

The Aces will be back on the courts next weekend at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional in Memphis, Tenn. The five-day event begins Friday, Oct. 18.
