NORMAL, Ill. – Due to heavy rains at Duffy Bass Field in Normal, Ill., the University of Evansville baseball team has had its Missouri Valley Conference Tournament game pushed back until later in the afternoon.
 
The first pitch between the Purple Aces and Braves will take place 45 minutes following the conclusion of the first game of the day between Wichita State and Creighton, which will be at approximately 3 p.m.  First pitch between the Bluejays and Shockers is slated for 11:42 am.
 
Evansville will look to stave off elimination when it takes on Bradley, as the Aces fell, 2-1, yesterday in its MVC Tournament opener.  UE took two of three from the Braves in the regular-season series that was played in Peoria, Ill., earlier this season.
