Final Results

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Junior Mina Milovic and sophomore Marina Moreno were the top performers as the University of Evansville women's tennis team wrapped up the SIU Edwardsville Fall Invitational on Saturday.
 
After going 2-0 on Friday, Milovic completed her perfect weekend in flight five singles.  Milovic defeated Haley Ilcewicz of SIUE, 6-2, 6-2 in what was a great beginning to her season. 
 
At flight three singles, it was Moreno taking a win of Kali Donner of the Cougers, 6-2, 6-3.  She also excelled in doubles, going 2-0 with Kamil Stadalninkait of Eastern Illinois.  The duo started the day off with an 8-4 win over Kailey Eaton and Grace Hyde of Butler before taking an 8-0 victory over Ilcewicz and McKenzie Thomas from SIUE.
 
Natasha James and Marketa Trousilova were victorious in their doubles match on Saturday.  The duo defeated Mia Frogner and Kali Donner of Edwardsville.
 
Fall tennis continues on Oct. 4 as the Aces travel to the MVC Individual Championships in St. Louis.
