EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Evansville women's tennis coach Nick Mueller has announced the addition of freshman Andjela Brguljan to his squad for the spring of 2014. 
 
Brguljan, a native of Rijeka, Croatia, joins the Aces as a freshman this semester.
 
"Andjela will be a great addition to our program for this spring.  She brings a lot of international experience to our program, along with her high level of talent," Mueller said.  "She will contribute in both singles and doubles immediately.  She is also an excellent student and plans to pursue Business.  I look forward to working with Andjela."
 
Brguljan was consistently ranked inside the top 25 in every age group in Croatia.  She has traveled outside of her home country for competition many times, exposing her to some of the best talent in all of Europe.  She also spent time at the prestigious Sanchez-Casal Tennis Academy in Barcelona, Spain.  This academy is one of the top tennis training academies in the world, and helped to prepare her for Division 1 competition. 
 
Her expected major at UE will be business management.
