FULL 2014 SCHEDULE

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville women's soccer team unveiled its 2014 schedule Thursday afternoon.  The Purple Aces will play 10 of their regular-season 18 matches on their home pitch at Arad McCutchan Stadium, including a contest with NCAA Tournament participant and reigning Missouri Valley Conference champion Illinois State.
 
Evansville's schedule is highlighted by a pair of games against two squads that finished in the final RPI top 100 last season in Butler and Illinois State.  The Aces will play a pair of preseason contests against Wright State (Aug. 10) and at UNLV (Aug. 15), before opening their regular season with four-straight home matches.
 
UE will welcome Austin Peay to McCutchan Stadium for its home opener on Aug. 22, before hosting Saint Louis (Aug. 24), Bowling Green (Aug. 29) and Eastern Kentucky (Aug. 31) to close out of the month of August.
 
Evansville will be on the road for four of its next five games, traveling to UT Martin for a Sept. 3 match, before returning home for a contest against Butler on Sept. 5.  The Aces will then open a three-game road swing at Western Kentucky (Sept. 7), before concluding it at IUPUI (Sept. 12) and Valparaiso (Sept. 14).
 
UE will continue its non-conference slate with a home match with Southeast Missouri State (Sept. 17) and a road game at Belmont (Sept. 19), before wrapping up non-conference play by hosting Tennessee Tech (Sept. 21).
 
Evansville opens MVC play at Drake (Sept. 28), before hosting Illinois State at McCutchan Stadium on Oct. 4.  The Aces will be back on the road at Missouri State (Oct. 11), prior to hosting Indiana State (Oct. 15) and Northern Iowa (Oct. 25) for their final two home conference matchups.  UE will then close out the regular season and the month of October at Loyola (Oct. 30).
 
The MVC Tournament will begin Nov. 2 on campus sites and conclude with the semifinals and championship match set to be played in Normal, Ill., at Adelaide Street Field on the campus of Illinois State on Nov. 7 and Nov. 9.

The University of Evansville athletics department has also announced a special promotion for soccer season tickets due to the upcoming 2014 World Cup, where Aces' fans will have the chance to save on their season tickets with promotions that will be held on days when the United States National Team plays it group stage matches (June 16, June 22, June 26), including a UE-themed event at Buffalo Wild Wings on Green River Road for the USA vs. Germany match on June 26.
