EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- Jarod Perry (Sedalia Bombers - M.I.N.K League) continued his hitting streak this week, as he has now recorded a hit in 12-straight games for the Bombers and has lifted his average to .318 this summer with 10 RBI and 10 stolen bases.
Boomer Synek (Mankato MoonDogs - Northwoods League) has lifted his average to .226 this season and is reaching base at a .422 clip, after delivering his first home run of the seaon in a 3-for-3 performance that included a pair of RBI at ThunderBay on June 20. In addition, Synek has drawn 18 walks on the year and ranks in a tie for 10th on the Northwoods League leaderboard.
On the mound,
Jimmy Ward (Hamilton Joes - Great Lakes League) picked up his first victory of the season and lowered his ERA to 2.76 by tossing 3.2 scoreless innings at Grand Lake on June 18 and incoming transfer Patrick Schnieders (Richmond RiverRats - Prospect League) was stellar in his latest outing, tossing 6.1 shutout frames in a 6-0 win at Quincy on June 21.

Kyle Pollock belted his first professional home run this week for the Idaho Falls Chukars (Rookie - Kansas City). Pollock delivered a three-run blast in the fifth inning as part of a 2-for-4 night. On the season, Pollock is hitting .267 with a home run and three RBI in five games with the Chukars.
Kyle Lloyd allowed four runs on three hits over 3.0 innings with four strikeouts and a walk in his latest start for the Fort Wayne TinCaps (Class A - San Diego). The rough outing raised Lloyd's ERA to 4.06 this season, as the 6-foot-4 right-hander is now 2-1 on the season with 62 strikeouts in his 51.0 innings of work.
Eric Stamets also hit his first home run of the season for the Arkansas Travelers (Double-A - Los Angeles Angels), but the former All-American shortstop has been scuffling at the plate, seeing his average dip to .211, after hitting just .074 in his last 10 outings.
