Goalkeeper
Simone Busby made eight saves in the match to record her third solo shutout of the year, as Evansville's (3-4-1) posted its fifth shutout of the 2014 campaign. The Chattanooga, Tenn., native made six of her saves in the second half, as IUPUI (2-4-2) put six of its nine second-half shot attempts on frame.
Freshman
Nicki Baham led the Aces offensively with five shots on the night and UE outshot the Jaguars, 22-16, but IUPUI goalkeepers Nicole Kulovitz and Catherine Schmidt combined for seven saves to keep Evansville off the board.
Senior
Tatiana Pagan and sophomore
Bronwyn Boswell combined for four of the Aces' seven shots on goal, with each tallying two apiece to bolster the UE offense.
For IUPUI, Krissy Kirkhoff fired a team-high vie shots, putting two on frame, while Tori Minnich put three of her four shot attempts on goal.
Defensively, Evansville held IUPUI without a shot attempt in the two overtime periods and allowed just two corner kicks on the night.
The Aces will conclude the weekend with a road match at Valparaiso at 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
