By averaging over 15 rebounds per game in the Wooden Legacy and posting another 11 versus Alabama State, Egdijus Mockevicius pushed his season average up to 13.7 per game, No. 2 in the country.  Mockevicius earned his 32nd double-double in the last 51 games by recording 12 points and 11 rebounds against Alabama State.  He is also nearing Dan Godfread's school record of 226 blocked shots.  Godfread finished his storied career with 226 blocks while Mockevicius is charging hard with 222, just four behind.

With 1,912 points in his career, D.J. Balentine ranks atop the active NCAA scoring list and his average of 20.9 points per game this year is tops in the MVC.  He had another accurate effort against Alabama State, downing 10 of his 13 shots.  In the first two games this year, the senior was shooting just 33.3% (9/27); since then, he has his 49.3% of his shots (33/67).
