Box Score

Troy, AL – The University of Evansville Women's Softball team wrapped up their weekend and the Firehouse Invite on Sunday afternoon when they took on host Troy.  Troy was able to down the Aces by a final score of 3-1.  The Aces finished with a record of 1-3 on the weekend.
 
Troy jumped to a quick 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first.  The game remained 1-0 until the top of the fourth inning when the Aces were able to tie it up when Abbi Fahse was able to triple through the right side and then score off of a Chandra Parr groundout.  Troy was able to come out in the bottom of the sixth and secure the victory with two more runs of their own.  The final score was 3-1.
 
The Aces will be back in action next weekend when they head to Macon, GA for the Mercer Tournament where they will see the likes of Kennesaw State, Mercer, and Buffalo.  The Aces will have their first home action on March 14^th when they take on Loyola.
