Evansville, IN – The University of Evansville Women's Tennis team was back in action on Sunday night when the Aces took on the Eastern Illinois Panthers.  The Aces improved their overall record to 4-2.  Natasha James had a big win for the Aces at flight two singles beating Grace Summers of Eastern Illinois by a score on 6-3 and 6-0.
 
In doubles action, Marketa Trousilova and Natasha James were up 5-1 against Grace Summers and Sephora Boulbahahiem but they were not able to finish the match.  At flight two doubles Ali Foster and Hannah Kimbrough of Eastern Illinois defeated Kennedy Craig and Gaby Fifer of UE by a score of 6-0.  Marina Moreno and Andjela Brguljan were defeated by Kelly Iden and Kamile Stadalninkaite by a score of 6-1.
 
At flight one singles Marketa Trousilova pulled out an impressive victory against Kelly Iden by a score of 4-6, 7-5, and 6-0.  Evansville's Marina Moreno was defeated by Ali Foster by a score of 6-4 and 6-4 at flight three singles.  At flight four singles Sephora Boulbahaiem of Eastern Illinois defeated Andjela Brguljan by a score 6-2 and 6-3.  Kennedy Craig of the Aces was victorious against Hannah Kimbrough by a score of 6-0, 2-6, and 6-2.  Finally, at flight six singles Mina Milovic of Evansville was victorious against Kamile Stadalninkaite by a score of 7-5 and 6-3.
 
The Aces will be back in action when they take on Southern Illinois Edwardsville at Tri-State Athletic Club.  The match is slated to start at 7:00 p.m. CT.
