Good day Aces fans! Hope everyone has had a great week. We are towards the end of our spring break which started early for us (school cancellations and traveling).
 
This past weekend, we went back down to Emerson, Georgia to play a four game series against Western Illinois. We split the series with them winning the second game of the first doubleheader on Friday and winning the first game of the doubleheader on Saturday.
 
A couple days ago, we went down to Nashville to play the Belmont Bruins. It was a tough game for us in which we lost 5-1.
 
Through this past week, we are learning a lot about ourselves as a unit. We are also learning how we can overcome adversity and continue to play quality baseball in all facets of the game.
 
Now that midweek games are in full swing and conference is almost underway, we face the challenge mentally of being prepared each and every day to compete at a high level.
 
This weekend we are playing Ohio State in a three game series on the road. This is a huge weekend for us and we are looking forward to the challenge!
 
After this weekend, we'll finally have our first home game of the year at Braun Stadium, on Wednesday against Murray State.
