Orlando, FL –The University of Evansville Women's Tennis team (8-4,0-0 MVC) wrapped up their week in Orlando, FL on Friday with a 6-1 loss to James Madison University. Natasha James was again victorious at flight two singles defeating Rachel Nelson 6-4, 7-5. The Aces finished with a final record of 2-1 in Orlando for the week. The Aces were able to record victories over Bucknell and Quinnipiac before falling to James Madison.

In doubles action against James Madison, the Aces picked up a win at flight one doubles when James and Marketa Trousilova defeated Taylor Pinchoff and Alex Huie by a score of 8-7. At flight two doubles, James Madison took the victory over Marina Moreno and Kennedy Craig by a score of 8-1. James Madison was again victorious at flight three doubles when Rachel Nelson and Emily Bradshaw defeated Gaby Fifer and Mina Milovic by a score of 8-4.

In flight one singles action, Marketa Trousilova was defeated by Taylor Pinchoff 2-6, 6-4, and 10-4. Alex Huie of James Madison defeated Marina Moreno at flight three singles by a score of 6-0, 6-3. In flight four singles action, Kennedy Craig of Evansville was defeated by Dylan Owens 6-3, 6-2. Mina Milovic of Evansville was defeated by Kimmy Herrock at flight five singles 6-2, 7-6(5). Finally, at flight six singles, Rebecca Harris of James Madison was able to defeat Andjela Brguljan 6-1, 6-3.

The Aces will be back in action on March 21
st against Lipscomb University.  The match will be at Wesselmans Park. Start time will be at 1:00 p.m. CT.
