Box Score

Evansville, IN– The University of Evansville Women's Tennis Team (9-9, 1-4 MVC) wrapped up their weekend with a match against the Drake Bulldogs on Sunday morning.  Drake was able to defeat the Aces by a score of 6-1.  Marketa Trousilova was able to get two victories.  At flight one singles, she defeated Mariel Ante by a score of 6-4, 2-6, 10-8.  In doubles action, Trousilova and Marina Moreno defeated Ante and Adrienne Jensen by a score of 8-7 (7-4).
 
At flight two doubles, Nell Boyd and Maddie Johnson of Drake defeated Natasha James and Kennedy Craig by a score of 8-4.  Lastly, at flight three singles Gaby Fifer and Mina Milovic of Evansville were defeated by Jordan Eggleston and Tess Herder by a score of 8-5.
 
In other singles action, Natasha James of Evansville took the loss against Maddie Johnson 6-0, 6-2 at flight two singles.  At flight three singles, Summer Brills of Drake defeated Kennedy Craig by a score of 6-1, 6-4.  Marina Moreno of Evansville was defeated by Bell Boyd 6-4, 6-0 at flight four singles.  Adrienne Jensen of Drake defeated Mina Milovic at flight five singles by a score of 6-0, 6-2.  Lastly, at flight six singles, Gaby Fifer of Evansville was defeated by Lea Kozulic 6-3, 6-1.

The Aces will be back in action this next weekend when they face Illinois State on Friday April 18^th at 1:00 p.m. CDT and Bradley on April 19^th at 10:00 a.m. CDT.  Both matches will be at Wesselman Park.  The Aces will then host the MVC Team Championships April 24^th-26^th at Wesselman Park.
