Evansville, IN – The University of Evansville Softball Team (10-42, 2-20 MVC) will host Bradley in a three game series this weekend which will serve as the season finale for the Aces. Saturday will feature a doubleheader with game one starting at 12:00 p.m. CDT and game two starting at 2:00 p.m. CDT. The series will conclude on Sunday with a start time set for 12:00 p.m. CDT.Â

Prior to the doubleheader on Saturday, the Aces lone two seniors, Mariah Ferguson and Abbi Fahse, will be honored with senior day ceremonies. Ferguson is hitting .248 this season with five homeruns, six doubles, two triples, 24 RBIs, and a team high 19 walks. Fahse will enter her final series hitting .250 with three homeruns, five doubles, a triple, and 14 RBIs.

Danielle Freeman continues to make her presence known for the Aces this season. In 32 games, Freeman is batting .350. She has 36 hits in 103 at bats. Freeman has also homered 13 times, has four doubles, and 28 RBIs in those 32 games.

Chandra Parr has played in 47 games so far for the Aces. Parr is hitting .302 going 40-125 at the plate. Parr has eight homeruns, nine doubles, and a triple. Parr also has 21 RBIs. 77 total bases, and 36 runs scored for the Aces so far this season.

Michal Luckett has continuously performed for the Aces. Luckett is hitting .320 on the season while going 40-125 from the plate. Luckett has a homer, six doubles, and a triple while batting leadoff a majority of the season.

Bradley comes in to the matchup with an overall record of 19-31 and MVC record of an even 12-12 this season. The Braves are most recently coming off of a three game set against the Drake Bulldogs at Bradley. Bradley was able to take two out of the three games from league leading Drake.

Erika Hansen comes into the series for Bradley hitting a team leading .372 for the Braves this season. She has also hit four homeruns and has knocked in 37 RBIs. Shannon King comes in the series as another legitimate threat from the plate for the Braves hitting .276 with six homers and 32 RBIs. In the circle, the Braves are led by Aly Spinas-Valai who has compiled a record of 9-16 and currently has an ERA of 4.19.
