Box Score EVANSVILLE, Ind. - After an evenly played opening half, the University of Evansville women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 match at home to UNI as the Panthers scored three second half goals on Friday evening at Arad McCutchan Stadium.

To open the match, Evansville found two quick scoring chances as sophomore Jayme-Lee Hunter put two shots on-goal, but UNI goalkeeper Jami Reichenberger saved both. In the 32nd minute, the Panthers recorded their first shot on-goal as Brynell Yount's shot was saved by Michaela Till. Just before the half, freshman Emily Ormson tallied a shot that missed wide as the Aces and Panthers both combined for nine shots in the opening period.

Five minutes into the second half, UNI scored its first goal of the match after a Panther was brought down in the box. UNI's Kelsey Yarrow stepped to the spot and converted the penalty kick, giving the Panthers a 1-0 advantage. Shortly after, the Panthers pushed their lead to 2-0 in the 51st minute on a goal by Yount off a rebounded shot by Hannah McDevitt. Evansville's Emily Wolak and Mikayla Harvey each looked to pull one back for the Aces, but both had their shots on-goal saved by Reichenberger. In the final 15 minutes of regulation, Yarrow recorded her second goal of the night, dribbling along the top of the box and shooting, finding the back of the net as UNI picked-up the 3-0 win.

A trio of Aces paced Evansville with two shots with Hunter leading the way putting both her chances on-goal. Between the posts for Evansville, Till made a pair of saves, allowing two goals in the UE loss.

Evansville is back in action on October 13 as the Aces head on the road for the first time in MVC play this season when they travel to Des Moines, Iowa for a 5 p.m. matchup with Drake.
