EVANSVILLE, Ind - It was a red letter recruiting season for the University of Evansville baseball team, as head coach Wes Carroll announced his 2019 class of signees. The Aces' recruiting haul includes three right hand pitchers, two left hand pitchers, four infielders, along with an outfielder and a catcher.
"I would like to thank our coaching staff for their hard work to put together a great recruiting class," said coach Carroll. "They did outstanding job putting together such a talented group of student-athletes that will help us compete in the MVC. Coach Mahon and Coach Gaura identified our needs and we have signed a well-balanced class of position players and pitchers. The five pitchers adding to our roster have a chance to make immediate impacts the moment they arrive to campus. The athleticism and versatility of the position players in this class gives us much needed flexibility in our lineup for years to come. They did outstanding job putting together such a talented group of student-athletes that will help us compete in the MVC".
