EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville softball program has released information about an upcoming clinic.
December Clinic Information - January Clinic Information - Waiver
A clinic will be held on January 13, 2019 for grades 7-12. There are three sessions for this clinic. The first will be pitching/catching and goes from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A hitting portion will go from 11 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. while a third clinic focusing on defense will begin at 1 p.m. and run for 90 minutes. The pitching/catching section is limited to 24 participants while the hitting and defense clinics are limited to 40 in each one. The cost of each session is $75.
The hitting and defensive session will cover proper hitting, bunting, throwing and fielding techniques while the catching clinic will work on fundamentals of catching, throwing and blocking. The pitching section will teach the fundamentals and drills used at the collegiate level. Pitchers will need to bring their own catchers.

Both sessions will be held at the Armory on the University of Evansville campus. Participants are encouraged to mail the registration form for the clinic and session(s) they would like to take part in.
