EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The University of Evansville women's soccer team will wrap-up its two-game exhibition slate on Sunday when the Purple Aces host Eastern Illinois at 4 p.m. at Arad McCutchan Stadium.

UE is coming off a 2-0 loss on the road at SIUE on Wednesday that opened up its exhibition schedule. The preseason campaign continues for the Aces on Sunday against EIU, who Evansville last met in 2013 during the regular season when the Aces captured a 5-4 victory.

"For us, (the match) will help us work out what our lineup is going to be," said Aces head women's soccer coach Krista McKendree. "We're still looking at some pairings to see who plays well together , but most importantly, we're trying to figure out that come Thursday when the real deal happens, who is going to be the group that is starting and hopefully what the substitution rotation is going to be."

Sunday's match is Youth Soccer Day at Arad McCutchan Stadium which will feature a complimentary pregame clinic from 2:30 to 3:30 for children 12 and under included with admission. Children who wear their youth club team jersey to the match will receive discounted $3 admission, a $2 discount. Also, the Aces will conduct a post-game autograph session along with a schedule cup giveaway for all fans.  

"We want to get the community behind our players and for our players to see that the community supports them and at the same time for the youth to look up at these collegiate athletes," said McKendree. "Whether they want to be a collegiate athlete or just at least know the possibilities they have. I think its important for us to give back to the community and hopefully be able to help them enjoy soccer and want to keep playing."
