Full 2020 Schedule

EVANSVILLE - Set for an exciting season, the University of Evansville baseball team has announced its schedule for 2020, opening on February 14.

The Aces' schedule for 2020 includes 27 home contests with opening day at the newly renovated German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium set for Feb. 28 at 3 PM against Butler. Evansville will conclude the opening weekend series on Saturday, Feb. 29 and Sunday, March 1.

"I want to thank Mark Spencer on his efforts to put together an outstanding 2020 schedule," said Aces head baseball coach Wes Carroll. "We are thrilled to open up German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium this spring.  I can't wait for the community to see the finished product and be able to watch top notch college baseball in a first class facility."

One of the highlights of the non-conference slate is a midweek matchup with Indiana on Tuesday, March 10. Another power five opponent comes to visit Evansville on March 13-15 as the Aces host Purdue for a three-game weekend series. 

"Once again I feel like we have put together a competitive non conference schedule that will get us ready to compete in the Missouri Valley Conference," said Carroll.  "The home opener and our first game on German American Bank Field will be an excited one as we welcome back Coach Schrage, former UE Head Coach and his Butler Bulldogs."

Evansville hosts four Missouri Valley Conference series at German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium this season with Southern Illinois (Mar. 27-29), Bradley (Apr. 24-26), and Valparaiso (May 1-3) all coming to the River City this season.

"The conference schedule in 2020 allows us to have 4 home weekends which is an advantage," mentioned Carroll about the conference slate. "We look forward to the challenge of this schedule and are ready to represent the University of Evansville. Go Aces!"

The Missouri Valley Conference tournament starts on May 19 and runs through May 23 at Itchy Jones Stadium on the campus of Southern Illinois.
