EVANSVILLE, Ind. - With Impending inclement weather due to arrive in Evansville by mid-afternoon, the University of Evansville baseball team has canceled its midweek non-conference match-up with Belmont, set for Wednesday night at Charles H. Braun Stadium.
The Aces, who are sporting a 21-19 overall record and an 8-4 mark in Missouri Valley Conference play, are off to their best start in three seasons. They'll look to improve on that record this weekend when they travel to Carbondale to face their arch-rivals from Southern Illinois.
Game one at Itchy Jones Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday night.
