RICHMOND, Ky.  – The University of Evansville men's golf team bounced back in round three of the EKU Raising Canes Intercollegiate, Sunday afternoon.
 
As a team the Purple Aces went 3-under par in round three to jump three spots, finishing in a tie for sixth place.
 
Dallas Koth and Matthew Ladd led the way for the Aces, both finishing the event tied for fourth place, just three strokes behind the leaders. Koth marked a career low round 69, finishing 1-over par on the weekend.
 
Ladd carded a career best 4-under par 66 in the final round, moving up 26 spots, while posting six birdies on the day. A 66 single round score has only occurred six other times in school history, since 1990.
 
Spencer Wagner also improved on the final day, running a 1-over par 71 in the last 18 holes, finishing tied for 40^th.
 
Isaac Rohleder, Henry Kiel and Caleb Wassmer all ended the EKU Intercollegiate tied for 58^th at 17-over par.
 
The Purple Aces will next head to the NKU Collegiate Classic next week, Sept. 23-24, held at Lassing Pointe Golf Course.
