RICHMOND, Ky.  – The University of Evansville men's golf team bounced back in round three of the EKU Raising Canes Intercollegiate, Sunday afternoon.

As a team the Purple Aces went 3-under par in round three to jump three spots, finishing in a tie for sixth place.
Â
Dallas Koth and Matthew Ladd led the way for the Aces, both finishing the event tied for fourth place, just three strokes behind the leaders. Koth marked a career low round 69, finishing 1-over par on the weekend.

Ladd carded a career best 4-under par 66 in the final round, moving up 26 spots, while posting six birdies on the day. A 66 single round score has only occurred six other times in school history, since 1990.

Spencer Wagner also improved on the final day, running a 1-over par 71 in the last 18 holes, finishing tied for 40
th.
Â
Isaac Rohleder, Henry Kiel and Caleb Wassmer all ended the EKU Intercollegiate tied for 58
th at 17-over par.

The Purple Aces will next head to the NKU Collegiate Classic next week, Sept. 23-24, held at Lassing Pointe Golf Course.
