Final Results
HUNTINGTON, WV. – The University of Evansville men's and women's track and field teams closed out the Marshall Invitational with more school records broken.
The men's squad ran away with first place with 163 points, while the women closed out in sixth with 32 points.
Smashing her fourth school record this season and second at the Marshall Invitational, Anna Lowry earned second place in the mile run at 5:02.10.
Michael Boots earned his second program record of the weekend, posting a first-place finish in the shot put with a 14.52-meter throw.
Breaking her own record, Haylee Harmeyer took down 12th place in the 400-meter dash at 1:01.86.
Earning a new program record in the 4x400-meter relay, teamed by Chris Backer, Stanley Chepchieng, Ian Alberts and Carson Kline, recording a first-place time of 3:28.63.
The Aces captured four of the top five spots in the men's 60-meter hurdles, led by Trey Riggs with an 8.49 time earning first.
Next up for the Purple Aces is the IU Hoosier Hills Open on Feb. 14 in Bloomington, Ind.
