EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville women's soccer team announced the signing of an additional student-athlete for the 2020 season.

Nicole Benati joins the Aces after spending a season at the University of Buffalo. The Dorchester, Ontario native posted a successful club career for the London Youth Whitecaps as she helped lead the squad to the 2015 Ontario Cup championship. Benati competed for London FC, the same club team as Aces teammate Morgan Blair, reaching the Ontario Cup finals in 2016.

"I am very excited about the addition of Nicole Benati," head coach Chris Pfau said. "She is a very talented player that will bring a lot of experience to our program. Nicole is great on the ball and a very smart player that will fit into our style right from the start."
