ST. LOUIS – Following her victory in the season-opening ASU Spring Classic, University of Evansville's Sophia Rohleder has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week.

In Evansville's first tournament of the spring, Rohleder earned the tournament championship at the ASU Spring Classic in Prattville, Alabama.  Despite the Purple Aces being unable to practice outdoors this spring, Rohleder and the team finished second in the tournament with Rohdler earning medalist honors. 
 
She opened the tournament with a 6-over 78 on Sunday.  Play was halted Sunday evening with five holes remaining in round two.  On Monday morning, Rohleder wrapped up the second round with a 5-over 77 before carding a 78 in round three to finish with a 233.  Her efforts earned her the victory by two strokes.
