EVANSVILLE, Ind. –  Making her second start of the season, University of Evansville's defensive back, Rachel Rosborough earns Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week honors, the league announced Tuesday.

Rosborough played all 110-minutes of the Aces in the shutout of Southern Illinois and was a part of the UE backline that faced 16 shots from SIU.

"That is great news for Rachel," head coach Chris Pfau said. "She has played extremely well. It is a lot to handle as a freshman as she was thrown right into conference games in her first starts. She has done a great job and has only gotten better."

Evansville's next scheduled game is Wednesday, March 24 as they take on Valparaiso at 6 p.m.
