BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Caleb Wassmer finished Sunday's two rounds of action with a score of 153 to pace the University of Evansville men's golf team at the Hoosier Collegiate Invite at the Pfau Course in Bloomington.
Day One Results
Wassmer led the Purple Aces in both rounds, carding a 77 to open play before improving by a stroke to a 76 in Sunday's final 18. He is tied for 49
th with a 153. Dallas Koth was back on the course and made an immediate impact. He was second on the UE squad with a 2-round tally of 161. Koth began with an 81 before lowering his score to an 80 to complete the day.

Eli Rohleder made his college debut on Sunday and was one shot behind Koth with a 162. The freshman posted identical scores of 81. Following him was brother Isaac Rohleder, tho recorded a 163. He made the largest jump in between rounds for the Aces, shaving seven strokes. Following an 85 to start the event, Rohleder recorded a 78 in round two. Carson Parker was fifth for UE with a 167.

The top three teams in the tournament are separated by just three strokes entering the final round on Monday. Cincinnati holds a 2-shot lead over Illinois. The Bearcats finished the first two rounds with a 571 while the Fighting Illini were two back. Indiana is third with a 574.Â

Cincinnati's Ty Gingerich leads the individual leaderboard with a 138. His scored checked in at 71 and 67. He is four under par following the first day of play. Tommy Kuhl of Illinois is one behind in second place. Evansville ranks in 15
th place.
