BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – In the final round of the Hoosier Collegiate Invite, it was Isaac Rohleder pacing the University of Evansville men's golf team at the Pfau Course on Monday afternoon.
Rohleder led UE with a score of 80 and tied brother Eli Rohleder with a 243 to wrap up the tournament. The pair tied for 68
th place to lead the Aces. Eli finished his final 18 holes with an 81, matching his score in the previous two rounds.
Final Results
Dallas Koth came home three shots behind the Rohlder brothers. He had an 85 to complete the event. Tying him was Caleb Wassmer, who carded two of the Aces' lowest rounds of the weekend to open the invite. His rounds on Sunday checked in at 77 and 76. Carson Parker rounded out the scores, completing the three rounds with a 263.
Cincinnati and Illinois shared the team title, each finishing with a tally of 858. The Fighting Illini began the day two strokes behind the Bearcats, but rallied in the last round to tie it up. Indiana claimed the third spot with an 860. The Hoosiers had the individual champion with Drew Salyers pacing the field. A 3-under 68 on Monday saw him defeat Illinois' Adrien Dumont de Chassart by two shots. Salyers' final score finished at 208.
Evansville wrapped up the tournament with a 15
th place finish. UE is right back in action next week with a trip to Pawley's Island, S.C. for the Golfweek Challenge. True Blue Golf Club will host the tournament, which runs Sunday (9/12) through Tuesday (9/14).
