Box Score (PDF)
Kuhlman was 4-for-9 from the field and 3-of-7 from outside in the 11-point outing.  Blaise Beauchamp scored six points and tied Shamar Givance for the team high with four rebounds.  Givance led UE (5-16, 1-9 MVC) with five assists.  Three Braves (13-11, 7-5 MVC) reached double digits in the scoring column, led by Jayson Kent's 14-point game.  Ville Tahvanainen scored 12 while Ari Boya added 10 points and a game-high 14 boards.

Bradley jumped out to a 7-2 advantage in the opening two minutes before Shamar Givance hit a triple before a Blaise Beauchamp basket tied it up at 7-7 at the 14:50 mark.  Following a field goal by the Braves, Noah Frederking drained a 3-pointer to put UE on top at 10-9.  After the Braves jumped back in front at 15-12, they would take control with a 12-0 stretch that continued and would finish as a 16-1 stretch over 7:27 of playing time.

Over that run. The Braves hit 7 of their 12 attempts while holding the Aces to 0-for-8 shooting and a pair of turnovers.  Jawaun Newton hit a layup with 4:11 remaining in the half to end the drought.  In the final minute, Preston Phillips connected on a triple to make it a 37-19 game at the break.

Things continued to go Bradley's way in the second half when the third 3-pointer of the period pushed the lead to 31 points – 55-24 – with 12:25 left in the game.  The lead reached as many as 36 points in the final minutes before BU finished the day with the 76-41 victory.

Hitting 56% of their second-half attempts, the Braves finished the game at an even 50%.  They recorded 46 rebounds while limiting the Aces to 23.  UE shot 27.1% in the game.  The 41 points marked the lowest total for the team since a 47-41 loss at Northern Iowa in 2018.  It also tied for the lowest mark UE has had at the Ford Center (41 vs. Wichita State in 2015).

A busy week is coming up for the Aces with three games in five days.  Play opens on Tuesday at Indiana State with a 6 p.m. CT game before the teams meet up on Thursday at the Ford Center for a 6 p.m. tip.  Next Saturday, UE will be in Carbondale to face Southern Illinois.
