EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Fresh off an 11-game road trip, the University of Evansville baseball team returns to German American Bank Field for a midweek contest on Tuesday evening against Austin Peay at 7 PM in Evansville.

Previewing the Matchup: Austin Peay

• The Aces and Governors are meeting for the 62nd time in series history with the Aces owning a 37-22-2 advantage in the all-time series.
• Tuesday's matchup wraps-up the home-and-home series between UE and Austin Peay, following Evansville's 20-4 win in Clarksville, Tenn. on March 16.
• Evansville has won six of its last 10 contests coming into the weekend and has not lost a home midweek contest since May 7, 2019.

Superlatives Against the Govs

• Flashing back to the contest against APSU two weeks ago, Evansville reached a number of marks that it had not done in a long time.
• In an offensive explosion in a 20-4 win over Austin Peay on March 16, the Aces rewrote much of its "Last Time" page.
• The 20 runs were the most scored by Evansville since March 8, 2016 and the 12-run sixth inning was the highest-scoring inning for the Aces since April 5, 2011. 
• The Aces also tallied 20 hits in the game, its most since March 8, 2016.

Craig Closes In

• The chase for the top of the Evansville record book is winding to a close for Tanner Craig.
• Over the weekend, Craig smashed two more home runs, bringing his season total to nine, putting hime just one away from tying the program's all-time record of 40 homers, set by Jeff Starks from 1979-82.
