CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Six University of Evansville women's golfers were honored as the 2022-23 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team was announced.  The prestigious honor was awarded to 1,401 women's collegiate golfers from 378 programs.
 
Representing the Purple Aces on the list was Caitlin O'Donnell, Alyssa McMinn, Carly Frazier, Magdalena Borisova, Allison Enchelmayer and Mallory Russell.  The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players.

 To be selected, a student-athlete must: 

• Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher. 
• Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season. 
• Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship. 

 
All six of Evansville's honorees have a cumulative GPA of 3.621 or higher.  Three hold GPA's above 3.8.  As a team, the Aces registered a 3.622 GPA for the 2022-23 academic year.
