ST. LOUIS – University of Evansville men's basketball players Ben Humrichous and Chuck Bailey III were recognized on Wednesday evening as the Missouri Valley Conference announced its postseason All-Conference awards.

Humrichous earned a spot on the All-Newcomer Team while Bailey was named to the All-Freshman Team.

In his first season at UE, Humrichous established himself as one of the most dominant forces in the MVC. He completed the season with a team-high 15.0 points per game while shooting 50.9% from the field. The 2024 MVC Scholar-Athlete of the year finished the season ranked in the top ten in the league in multiple statistics including field goal percentage, 3-point percentage, 3-point makes and blocks.Â

Highlighting his season was an unbelievable showing at the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Classic in Chattanooga. In Evansville's comeback against Chattanooga, Humrichous scored a season-high 29 points before adding 27 in a victory over Southeast Missouri State.

Bailey was a 4-time MVC Freshman of the Week in his inaugural season of collegiate action. He set his career scoring mark with 27 points in November's road match-up at Missouri State. He added 18 points in the December triumph over Tennessee Tech.

One of the most dependable free throw shooters in the conference, Bailey converted 81.6% of his attempts, ranking him 11
th in the regular season.
