EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The University of Evansville Athletics Department has officially announced its 2025–26 men's basketball promotional schedule, highlighting a diverse lineup of theme nights, community celebrations, and special recognition events throughout the season at the Ford Center.
The schedule opens with Education Day and Business & Ball on Friday, November 7th, when the Purple Aces host Calumet College in an 11:00 a.m. tip-off designed to engage area schools and local business leaders alike. The Aces will then welcome Oakland City to the Ford Center on Sunday, November 9th to cap-off a weekend of Homecoming festivities.
"Our goal is to make every game a memorable experience that unites the Evansville community," said Assistant AD for Marketing & Fan Engagement Michael Robertson. "From honoring our veterans to celebrating our students, athletes, and families, every night tells a story of what makes this University and community special."
On November 12th, the Aces will recognize local heroes with Hometown Heroes Night, a celebration of first responders and active duty military and veterans. Just six days later, the four-game homestand concludes for the Aces on November 18th against UT Arling for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Night where fans are encouraged to wear purple to support raising awareness.
December opens with Youth Sports Night when Ball State visits on December 3rd as we recognize youth sports teams and leagues in the city with special on-court recognitions and videoboard features. The month continues with West Side Night on December 16th against Belmont with $10 ticket vouchers available at Zeller Master Tire. To kick-off the holidays, the Aces host Holiday Hoops on December 21st against Drake with an appearance from Purple Santa and holiday gift giveaways throughout the game.
After the New Year, the Aces will launch into January with Superhero Day on January 4th against UNI as part of UE's ongoing partnership with Peyton Manning Children's Hospital to recognize superheroes in our community. On January 7th, UE welcomes in local high school students for High School Night where attendees will get to experience what it's like to be an Ace for a Night, featuring exclusive giveaways, student perks, and participation in on-court games to rep their school pride.
On January 13th, it's time to pick up the sticks as Evansville hosts video game night featuring an exclusive poster giveaway, themed graphics throughout the arena, and a Mario Kart Tournament at halftime on the jumbotron. Later that month, on January 25th against SIU, the Aces host President's Club Day, a day of celebration and recognition for donors to the University of Evansville.
February promotions begin on February 3rd with the Black History Celebration against Indiana State as we begin a month-long celebration of Black History at UE, honoring those who have paved the way and made black history along the way on campus and in our community. On February 9th, Evansville welcomes in Illinois State for We Are Evansville Night, a celebration of the connection between UE and the city of Evansville. The Aces will then host their annual student-athlete academic recognition on February 18th against UIC, honoring the success of UE student-athletes in the classroom. The regular season comes to a close with Senior Night on February 28th when Valparaiso comes to town.
"Evansville basketball is about more than what happens on the court—it's about connection," Robertson added. "We want every fan, from those kids club members to our loyal alumni, to see themselves reflected in these celebrations. It's going to be a season full of energy and we can't wait to see everyone at the Ford Center."
