WATERLOO, Ill. – Kate Petrova was named to the All-Conference Team as the University of Evansville women's golf team completed the Missouri Valley Conference Championship on Tuesday at Annbriar Golf Course.

As a team, the Purple Aces took 5^th place.  Illinois State won the team championship, completing the three rounds at 10-over-par. 
 
Elizabeth Mercer was the leading finisher for UE, taking 13^th place.  She finished the tournament at 10-over.  Following scores of 74 and 75, Mercer recorded a 77 in the final round to finish with a 226.  Just behind her was All-Conference honoree Kate Petrova.  She tied for 14^th with a total score of 227. She posted a 76 on Tuesday after opening with tallies of 75 and 76.
 
Third on the team and also finishing inside the top 20 was Louise Standtke.  She wrapped up the final 18 holes with a 6-over 78.  Standtke opened with totals of 73 and 77 and finished with a 228 to tie for 17^th. 
 
Next up for UE was Mallory Russell.  After beginning the weekend with rounds of 76 and 80, she posted a 78.  Russell completed the championship with a 234 to finish in 31^st.  Trinity Dubbs checked in with an 81 in the last round to finish in a tie for 42^nd with a 239.
