EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The University of Evansville baseball program has announced schedule changes to its final home series of 2025.
Due to inclement weather expected in the Evansville area on Thursday and Friday evening, the Purple Aces have adjusted the start times of their games against the Bradley Braves both days. Thursday evenings game has been moved up by an hour to a 5 p.m. first pitch. While the second game of the series on Friday, May 16 has been moved to an afternoon game beginning at noon from Charles H. Braun Stadium.
UE will be playing for its postseason hopes this week as they are currently ninth in the Missouri Valley Conference standings and a game behind Bradley for the final spot in the MVC Tournament. If Evansville wins two of three games this week, they'll clinch a spot in the postseason with the series tiebreakers over both the Braves and seventh-place Indiana State. If the playoff race comes down to a three-way tie between the teams, the Aces would get the highest seed at seventh while Bradley would take the eighth seed as they won their series over the Sycamores.
