ST. LOUIS – University of Evansville golfer Kate Petrova was named the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week following her performance at the Redbird Invitational.
 
The top MVC performer at the event, Petrova came home in fourth place, finishing the weekend at 2-over-par. Her top round came in Sunday's opening 18 holes as she recorded a 1-under 71.
 
Petrova registered a 3-over 75 in the second round before wrapping up the tournament with an even score of 72. Her efforts helped the Purple Aces rally to come home in 9^th place.
