Last Time Out
Following a 3-set loss at UNI on Friday, the Purple Aces came back with a strong performance on Saturday at Drake. Despite coming up just short in five sets, the Aces took multiple positives out of the match. Lyla Fisher reset her career mark with 21 kills while hitting .528. Wren Jones finished with 13 kills while Ryan Scheu had 11.
 
Carsyn Kelley registered a career-high 50 assists while picking up 11 digs and Brooke Herdes paced the squad with 17 digs.
 
Setting Her Mark
With 21 kills in Saturday's match at Drake, Lyla Fisher reset her career mark. It bested her previous high of 18, which came at UIC. The effort improved her season average to 2.65 kills per set, which is 14^th in the MVC.
 
A Mark of Her Own
For the first time in her UE career, Carsyn Kelley reached the 50-assist mark. She recorded 50 assists in the 5-set match at Drake, one better than her prior mark of 49 helpers against USI. She continues to rank third in the Valley with her average of 8.70 assists per set. With 11 digs, Kelley registered her eighth double-double of the season.
 
Scouting the Opponent
Indiana State enters Tuesday's match with a record of 8-13 and 2-8 in the conference. The Sycamores earned their second league victory on Saturday defeating Valparaiso in five sets. ISU is led by Kira Holland's 2.89 kills per set.
