EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Coming off a series win in their first MVC series of the season, the University of Evansville baseball team will welcome the Indiana Hoosiers to Charles H. Braun Stadium on Tuesday night for a midweek contest. First pitch is set for 6 PM.

Series History

Starting Off Strong

- As a staff, the Aces struck out 23 Redbirds while allowing just five walks on the weekend
Walk-Off Winner
- Ryan Seddon opened MVC play in dramatic fashion on Friday night
- With the game tied 2-2 with 2 outs and 2 men on in the ninth inning, Seddon delivered a three-run blast to right field for a walk-off home run
- The walk-off was Evansville's first of the season and marked the Aces' first walk-off home run since Matt Flaherty walked off Indiana State on April 18, 2025
Byberg on the Bump
- Senior right-hander Owen Byberg will make his first start of the season against the Hoosiers on Tuesday
- Byberg has been excellent in relief this year, ranking second among qualified UE arms with a 3.76 ERA across 26.1 innings
- Byberg got the win against Illinois State on Sunday, posting scoreless frames in the eighth and ninth before Seddon walked it off in the bottom of the ninth
