Major Accomplishments
- Evansville is coming off a 3-game road sweep at Drake over the weekend
- It marked the first MVC sweep since 2024, the first road sweep since 2019, and the first time winning three consecutive conference series since 2016
- Through 14 league games, the Purple Aces are 8-6, which is the best MVC start since 2017 when UE opened at 10-6

Another Valley Honor
- For the second time this season, Emma McDonald earned MVC Newcomer of the Week honors on Tuesday following a strong series at Drake
- McDonald batted .429 versus the Bulldogs while adding two runs and an RBI
- Her first award came on 2/24 after batting .444 in the weekend at Central Arkansas
- She went 2-3 with a run and double in the game one win over Murray State

Two More W's
- In the road series sweep at Drake, Kate Ridgway earned two victories and a save while resetting her single-game strikeout mark
- Ridgway started the series with a 6-inning shutout while striking out 10 Bulldogs; it was her third-consecutive MVC complete game shutout
- In Saturday's opener, Ridgway reset her strikeout mark with 11 as she won her 7th game of the season; in game two, she recorded her first save of the year
- The sophomore tossed her second no-hitter of the season against Indiana State and won three games on her way to MVC Pitcher of the Week accolades on March 24 in a week that saw her allow one earned run in 18 2/3 innings while fanning 16 batters
- With 101 strikeouts, Ridgway ranks second in the MVC while her 7.31 strikeouts per seven innings is also second
