EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Evansville Athletics supporters demonstrated extraordinary generosity this year, helping raise nearly $2 million in support of the department, including facility initiatives. Of that total, more thanÂ
$1 million was directed to the Athletics Annual Fund, the largest annual fund total in the history of Purple Aces Athletics.
Â
"These historic levels of support speak volumes about the belief our alumni, donors, and fans have in the future of Purple Aces Athletics," said UE Director of Athletics Dr. Ziggy Siegfried. "Every gift, regardless of size, creates meaningful opportunities for our student-athletes by enhancing their experience, strengthening our pursuit of competitive excellence, and ensuring they have the resources to succeed in competition, in the classroom, and in life. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of those who continue to invest in our mission."
Â
These annual fund investments directly enhanced the student-athlete experience across our programs, supporting initiatives that strengthen competitive excellence both on and off the field. Contributions provided critical resources for training and performance, upgrades to practice environments, enhanced nutrition and travel opportunities, improved equipment and apparel, and other strategic priorities that empower our student-athletes to compete at the highest level.
Â
This historic support reflects the unwavering commitment of the Purple Aces community and a shared belief in the transformative power of athletics. Because of this generosity, UE student-athletes continue to receive the resources and opportunities necessary to thrive in competition, in the classroom, and in life.
