EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Just a few months after completing her playing career with the University of Evansville softball team, Jess Willsey is back with the program as the Director of Softball Operations and Creative Content/Media.
Â
"Having Jess back is tremendous, nobody loves Aces softball more than she does," Purple Aces head softball coach Bailey Dillender said. "Her creativity and organization skills are all a perfect match for some of our immediate goals in continuing to build the Aces softball brand."
Â
"I look forward to seeing the work and content Jess creates for us, and also ecstatic to continue to be a small part of her journey."
Â
Willsey left her mark on the UE program during her playing career. Her 107 RBI were third in program history while her 26 home runs placed her fifth in the Aces record book. As a senior, Willsey batted .293 with seven home runs, 30 RBI, 22 runs, and 11 walks.
Â
Along with her work on the field, Willsey got the job done in the classroom as well and was named to the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team.
