NASHPORT, Ohio – Alberic Le Bos-Niclot and Miguel Sobrado posted scores of 4-over 76 to pace the University of Evansville men's golf team in the final round of the Virtues Intercollegiate at The Virtues Golf Club.
Final Results
Michael Rosman was the top finisher for the Purple Aces. Completing the weekend at 5-over, Rosman tied for 41
st. One behind him was Le Bos-Niclot. Carding a 4-over 76 on Sunday, he finished his three rounds at 9-over and tied for 45
th.
Third on the team was Bryce Conlee. After leading the team after two rounds, Conlee scored an 85 in the third round to finish the event at 12-over. He tied for 57
th. Next up was Bobby Felicione. An 8-over 80 on Sunday tied him for 80
th at 25-over. Chris O'Donnell rounded out the team at 36-over. He completed Sunday's round with an 80.
Miguel Sobrado played as an individual and tied for 67
th at 17-over-par. Sobrado shot a 76 on Sunday.
Michigan pulled away to take the team championship by 11 strokes over Miami Ohio. Richmond came in third place. Evansville fell to 12
th place. Nilay Naik from the Wolverines was the medalist. He completed the tournament at 15-under to win by four strokes.
