EVANSVILLE, Ind. – In its final non-conference weekend, the University of Evansville volleyball team faces USI in a home-and-home series. On Friday, the teams meet up on the campus of USI at 6:30 p.m. before Saturday's match at Meeks Family Fieldhouse starts at 3 p.m.

- Lyla Fisher matched her career mark with 16 kills while Wren Jones added 14
- Kendall Agler led all players with 23 digs
 
Top Three
- Highlighted by a career-high 31 digs in the road win at Tennessee State, Kendall Agler is third in the MVC with her season average of 4.39 per set
- The effort surpassed her previous mark of 22 digs, which came just days earlier versus Kansas City
- On Tuesday at UT Martin, Agler had another strong effort with 23 digs
- Agler is averaging 5.444 digs per set over the last four matches
 
Matching Her Mark
- Lyla Fisher has posted her top tally of 16 kills in each of the last two matches
- After doing so in the home match against Tennessee State, Fisher duplicated the feat on Tuesday at UT Martin
- Averaging 2.84 kills/set, Fisher is 9th in the conference and has at least eight kills in eight out of ten matches
- Fisher paced the offense in her first weekend of collegiate action; after posting 12 kills in the opener versus PFW, she added 15 against Rutgers before completing the weekend with 11 at Bellarmine
- Averaging 2.71 kills per set, Fisher is 10th in the MVC
 
UE Debut
- Savannah Gogel made her Evansville debut at UT Martin
- In her first action for the Purple Aces, Gogel recorded seven kills in 17 attempts
- She added a solo block and block assists
- Gogel played at Northern Illinois as a freshman with her top effort of 13 kills coming against Buffalo
 
Scouting the Opponent
- USI enters the weekend with a 4-6 record
- The Screaming Eagles went 2-1 in last weekend's Sports Imports Classic in Columbus, Ohio earning wins over Youngstown State and Winthrop while falling to Ohio State in four sets
- Ashby Willis paces USI with 3.97 kills per set
