2008:  Competed in all eight meets for the second year in a row as a junior...after a slow start to the year, ran in UE’s top eight in the season’s final five meets...finished fourth on the team in a season-best 8K time of 26:51.64 at the UE Invitational...set a new personal-best mark in the 6K with a time of 20:26.62 at the Mid-America Opener...once again earned the MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award for his work in the classroom.

2007:  Developed into a top six runner for UE as a sophomore, competing in all eight meets...set new personal standards in the 6K (20:31.60-Mid-America Opener), 8K (26:43.52-UE Invitational), and 10K events (35:21.14-NCAA Great Lakes Regional)...cut nearly 40 seconds off of his best 8K time from his rookie season...posted two Top 25 individual finishes, including placing sixth at the Tennessee Tech Invite...earned the MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award and a place on UE’s Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

2006:  Ran in six of UE’s eight meets...developed into a top 10 runner...posted a season-best 8K time of 27:21.25 at the UE Invitational, finishing 35th overall...ran ninth for UE at the Saluki Invitational in an 8K time of 28:00.51...dropped over a minute from his 8K time in his final two meets of the year.

Background:  Lettered four years in cross country, three years in track, and played one year of baseball at Evansville North...earned all-city, all-conference, and all-sectional honors in cross country as a senior...two-time semi-state participant ...two-time academic all-city pick...seventh in the 2005 city meet...won North’s “N-Men’s” award and Kiwanis Award as a senior...an elementary education major at UE.

Why UE?:  Because of the personal environment and the very strong engineering program.
