Biography
2007: Ran in all eight of UE’s meets in her third season with the cross country program...set new personal standards in both the 4K (17:41.73-Mid-America Opener) and 6K events (25:12.80-NCAA Great Lakes Regional)...consistently ran in UE’s top eight...turned in a season-best 8K time of 20:08.07 at the State Farm MVC Championships...earned the MVC’s highest academic honor, the Presidents Council Academic Excellence Award, for her work in the classroom.
2006: Competed in all eight meets...consistently ran in UE’s top six...finished third on the team in a 6K time of 25:34.64 at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional...ran fourth for UE at the State Farm MVC Championships (20:42-5K)...posted a season-best 5K time of 20:36.52 at the Saluki Invite.
2005: Joined the team in the second week of the season from the soccer team...competed in UE’s final seven meets...consistently ran in UE’s top four...posted a season-best 5K time of 20:07 at the State Farm MVC Championships...third on the team at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional (25:52--6K).
2004: Played in 13 matches off of the bench as a midfielder and defender for the UE women’s soccer team.
Background: Standout soccer player at Evansville Memorial...a second team all-city selection...won the team’s Kiwanis Award for leadership...helped the Evansville Elite club team to a second place finish in the state tournament...daughter of former UE cross country coach Dave Enzler...majoring in movement science and physical therapy.
